What do we do when following Jesus gets hard?

It feels like society is getting more and more polarized every day. It is becoming harder and harder to have a serious conversation with people who have different beliefs and values than we do. It is becoming more and more than norm for people to view those with differing opinions as immoral. Yet as Christians, we are called to be Christ's ambassadors. We are called to engage with culture, to do good to everyone, to love our enemies, and pray for those who persecute us. Today, as we continue our series on 1 Peter, we're going to look at a how Peter counseled the early Christians to live in and among a culture that persecuted them and see how we can apply that to how we are called to live within our culture today.
